		<description>On other thing to consider is by always saying &quot;Yes&quot; you disrespect the other person.  You treat them as if they are not mature enough to deal with a &quot;No.&quot;  You coddle and baby them instead of treating them like an equal.

Saying &quot;No&quot; when you really mean it, or being willing to speak up for your discomfort and negotiate, is actually a respectful action to take.

		<description>I find that prefacing anything that I&#039;d rather not say with &quot;I&#039;m sorry&quot; is helpful. Or, at least, it makes it easier for me to say what it is that I have to say and don&#039;t want to. Whether it&#039;s &#039;no&#039; or &#039;you are in my way&#039;. Maybe it makes me sound tentative, but I would rather sound tentative than stay quiet. It took me a while to learn that, but it&#039;s true.</description>
